Josiah Gray Closes Season With Solid Outing
3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Josiah Gray made his final start of the year against the Red Sox Saturday, and he pitched well, allowing one run on three hits and two walks in six innings. He struck out seven batters and took a no-decision. Gray has now gone three consecutive starts without allowing more than three earned runs, and he's only allowed one home run in those three outings. That's a huge improvement after he allowed 18 homers over his first 11 appearances of the year. Gray is worth a late-round pick in 2022 drafts on upside alone.
