2 years agoWashington Nationals right-hander Josiah Gray was scratched from his Monday start against the Atlanta Braves due to a rain delay. Gray presumably got warmed up ahead of the game, but then the rain came and caused the game to start almost 90 minutes late due to the delay. Washington chose to play it safe with their young hurler and instead shifted to veteran Erasmo Ramirez as their starter. It is possible that Gray will instead take the mound on Tuesday but the Nationals have yet to make any official announcements. Stay tuned for a likely update after Monday's game.--Matt T - RotoBaller
