JT Brubaker Delivers Quality Start
2 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher JT Brubaker delivered his second consecutive quality start Monday, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks in six innings against the Chicago Cubs. He struck out four batters in the no-decision, giving him 101 strikeouts in 100 innings this season to go with a 3.96 ERA and 1.43 WHIP. Those numbers make him a decent streaming option in many fantasy leagues, but pitching for the lowly Pirates has left him with an unfortunate 2-8 record this season and brought down his value in setups that reward wins.
