JT Brubaker Earns Second Straight Win Friday
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher JT Brubaker earned his second straight win on Friday, allowing one run on four hits while striking out eight in six innings of work against the Brewers. It was Brubaker's longest outing of the year, as he's now allowed just three runs over 15 1/3 innings with 18 strikeouts. The one concern though is the rate at which he's hitting batters, having hit two batters in his last start and hitting three more in Friday's contest. Aside from that though, Brubaker is looking like a solid starter for Pittsburgh and a solid streaming option in fantasy. He'll have a couple of nice matchups for streaming in his next two scheduled starts against the Tigers and the Royals.
