Juan Soto Delivers Double And Homer
3 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto went 2-for-3 with a double, home run, and two walks against the Pirates on Saturday. His solo shot was hit on a rope, snuck through a stairwell and right field, and found its way into the Allegheny River. The 23-year-old is now 4-for-6 with four walks and zero strikeouts over the last two games. Since the season began, he has slashed .314/.467/.600 with a 97th-percentile walk rate (22.2 percent) and 89th-percentile strikeout rate (11.1 percent). He also ranks among some of the league's best in metrics like xSLG, xwOBA, xBA, and exit velocity. Fantasy managers should continue to view Soto as one of the best fantasy options considering his ability to hit the ball with power, draw walks, and avoid strikeouts.
