4 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto is back in the starting lineup on Friday night, as he will slot in as the designated hitter and bat third against the Yankees. It's Soto's first start since being activated from the injured list earlier in the week, with the Nationals taking advantage of having the designated hitter in the interleague matchup. The team believes that Soto is capable of batting, but they're being cautious about making him field just yet. Through 17 games this season, Soto is slashing .283/.391/.434 with two home runs, eight RBI and 11 runs scored. Managers should make sure they put Soto back into their lineups tonight against Jameson Taillon and the Yankees.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
