4 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto (calf) split the right-field reps during Monday's workout. Soto, who is dealing with a minor calf issue, and Yadiel Hernandez got the work in right during the Nationals' Monday workout, likely a case of the team being extra cautious with their superstar slugger, especially considering they'll already be without a huge chunk of their team due to a COVID-19 outbreak. There's nothing here to suggest that Soto won't be out of the lineup, so fantasy managers can confidently slot in their first-round pick for Tuesday's matchup against Braves' left-hander Drew Smyly.--Tim Capurso
