Juan Soto Showing Off Plate Discipline in Early Spring
5 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto walked two more times Monday, bringing his spring total to six against only three strikeouts. That has meant a .533 OBP despite a .222 batting average. It's just confirmation that the youngster continues to have a precocious batter's eye for his age--he is still just 21 as he enters his third season. Soto has already showed off his power-speed combo this spring as well, with both a home run and a steal after putting up 34 and 12, respectively, last year. He is a top-10 to 15 option this draft season no matter the format.
