4 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto (foot) will be in the lineup for his spring debut against the Marlins on Wednesday. Soto sat out the team's exhibition opener on Monday after fouling a ball off his right foot, though it turned out to be just a precautionary measure. The 22-year-old put up monster numbers in the shortened season last year, slashing .351/.490/.695 with 13 homers in 47 games. Only five players in MLB history have had a better OPS+ than Soto through their age-21 seasons. Soto is well worth a top-five selection in drafts of all shapes and sizes- and the argument can be made for a top-three choice.--Tim Capurso
