JuJu Smith-Schuster A WR3 Against Buffalo
4 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been heavily involved in his team's passing game of late, catching 28 of 37 targets over the past four games. The problem is, he is barely racking up any yardage, with just 161 yards over that same span. The low yards per reception have severely capped Smith-Schuster's upside, especially in standard-scoring leagues. He will look to get more going downfield in Week 14's road matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo has been tough on opposing wide receivers, allowing the 10th-fewest fantasy points per game to the position. Smith-Schuster does draw the best matchup of the Pittsburgh wideouts as he will see primary coverage from slot corner Taron Johnson. According to PFF, Johnson is allowing 0.31 fantasy points per route in 2020. Smith-Schuster should be started as a WR3 in PPR leagues in Week 14 with a downgrade in standard leagues.
