JuJu Smith-Schuster Looks To Take "Next Step"
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will be looking to "take that next step," according to Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert. Colbert acknowledged the wideout's lack of production in 2019, indicating that injuries and the lack of chemistry with backup quarterback Mason Rudolph hindered his performance. The 23-year-old finished last season with a career-low 42 catches (70 targets) for 552 yards and three touchdowns throughout 12 games. With Ben Roethlisberger expected to be ready to go after a season-ending elbow injury sustained during Week 2, the former Trojan has an excellent shot at getting back on track in what could be his final year in the Steel City.
