JuJu Smith-Schuster Should Be Fine For Regular Season
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) has "turned the corner" and should be fine for the regular season opener in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. Smith-Schuster's sore knee occurred the Monday after the first preseason game, and he hasn't practiced in training camp since. Reid isn't worried about the 25-year-old pass-catcher, so fantasy managers shouldn't be either. Smith-Schuster won't play in the preseason finale this Thursday. In his first year in KC, he should be a big part of the team's passing attack, although quarterback Patrick Mahomes is expected to spread the ball around to Travis Kelce, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Mecole Hardman and rookie Skyy Moore. Smith-Schuster is a WR3 in fantasy with considerable upside if he can stay healthy.
