JuJu Smith-Schuster To Get WR1 Treatment Against Pats
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is now in the spotlight as the team's top pass catcher. With Antonio Brown out of town, team’s top cornerbacks will be focusing on Smith-Schuster this year. This week against the New England Patriots, the third-year receiver will draw Stephon Gilmore, who finished 2018 as ProFootballFocus' top-ranked cornerback. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger loves to force feed his star receivers so drawing targets won't be an issue for Smith-Schuster. However, the USC product may have to work a bit harder to meet his production expectations. Nevertheless, he should be viewed as a WR1 just based off of talent and his offense, but know that this head-to-head matchup couldn't be any more difficult.
