6 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will go up against a fast and fierce Vikings defense in Week 13. Edelman is having a solid season, totaling 44 receptions for 510 yards and three touchdowns through seven games. He will have a tough task, however, against a Vikings defense that has not allowed a single 100-plus yard receiving game to a receiver not on the Rams this season. Outside of the Rams game, the Vikings have allowed only four touchdowns to receivers all season. Edelman is a safety valve from the slot position for quarterback Tom Brady but could struggle to post yards after the catch against a swarming Minnesota secondary. Edelman has value in PPR-leagues but fantasy owners need to temper expectations for a player who becomes practically non-existent in the red zone.
