6 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will have a favorable matchup against a Jets defense that is allowing the sixth most fantasy points to opposing receivers. Edelman has been a PPR-darling since returning from his four-game suspension and has 40 receptions for 426 yards with two touchdowns through six games. He has been very active in each of the games he has played this season but has struggled, at times, springing free for huge gains after the catch. He has been a solid safety valve for Tom Brady from the slot and will play a Jets defense that has allowed nine touchdowns to receivers over their last seven games. Edelman has plenty of value in PPR-leagues but fantasy owners need to be aware that he is rarely targeted in the red zone. Edelman will be a safe play as a WR2/3 for Week 12.--Joey C - RotoBaller
