4 years agoNew England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman (knee) has not been cleared to return off of injured reserve in time to suit up Sunday against Miami. While it was previously believed that Edelman could miss the remainder of the 2020 year after undergoing knee surgery, the door is at least open for a possible return either against the Bills or Jets over the final two weeks. Without Edelman in the mix, Jakobi Meyers, Damiere Byrd, and N'Keal Harry have held down the WR spots, albeit without much sustained success due to New England's struggles in the passing game. In his six appearances this season, Edelman is yet to find the end zone, having been held to 21 receptions for 315 yards. Keep an eye out over the final two weeks to see if he can return in time, even if he won't hold his traditional fantasy appeal.--Jesse Borek
