Julio Jones Week 1 Outlook For Fantasy Football

2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Julio Jones will look to rebound after a disappointing 2021 campaign with his new team in 2022. He signed a one-year contract with the Buccaneers this offseason. The 33-year-old struggled mightily last season with the Titans, catching 31 passes for 434 yards and touchdown over 10 games. Jones will look to put 2021 behind him and could have a fantasy impact in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. According to head coach Todd Bowles, Jones "kind of gotten to the point where he's returned to his old self." Jones showed a connection with his only preseason game with quarterback Tom Brady, securing his lone target for 20 yards. Fantasy managers need to keep an eye on Chris Godwin's (knee) and Russell Gage's (hamstring) statuses before inserting Jones into their lineups for Week 1.
