2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez (wrist) "felt good" Wednesday after hitting in the cage. The Rookie of the Year candidate is expected to be available for Friday's series opener against the Texas Rangers. The 21-year-old experienced soreness on Monday after taking swings in the cage, and the team decided to give him a few extra days off. Barring any setbacks, Rodriguez is expected to return to the lineup on Friday. The star outfielder is slashing .271/.334/.482 with 18 home runs, 57 RBI, 55 runs, and 21 stolen bases in 96 games in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
