2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez left Saturday's contest versus the Astros early after he was hit on the wrist by a pitch. The rookie stayed in the game to play defense, but was pulled before his next at-bat and will undergo X-rays on his wrist to find out the severity of the injury. Rodriguez stated that he would speak to the media on Sunday as managers tentatively hold their breath for no severe damage. He will likely sit for Sunday's finale and a trip to the IL shouldn't be ruled out either until we get the imaging results tomorrow.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
