Julio Rodriguez's Wrist Still Not 100 Percent
2 years agoSeattle Mariners rookie outfielder Julio Rodriguez's wrist is still "feeling it a little bit on the vibration" when swinging in the batting cages, according to manager Scott Servais. However, the Mariners aren't ruling out a return from the 10-day injured list for Rodriguez on Wednesday, but they want to see how he responds after more swings on Monday. The 21-year-old All-Star is first eligible to come off the injured on Wednesday, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if it doesn't actually happen until later in the week. J-Rod has been a must-start in fantasy in his first year in the majors, as he's hitting .271/.334/.482 with an .816 OPS, 18 home runs, 57 RBI, 55 runs scored and 21 stolen bases in 365 at-bats. Outfield prospect Jarred Kelenic could return to the minors once Rodriguez is activated.
