4 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Julio Teheran (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder strain, according to Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic. Teheran was scratched from his scheduled start on Friday as a precaution with tightness in his right triceps, but now it appears to be a shoulder issue he is dealing with. He had looked solid in his first start of the year, allowing one run while striking out three in five innings of work to earn the win. In a corresponding move, the Tigers recalled pitcher Alex Lange from the alternate site, but it appears likely that Michael Fulmer will make the move back from the bullpen to the rotation while Teheran is out.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
