Julio Urias Expected to Remain a Starter
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Julio Urias is expected to remain a starter when he returns to the big leagues. Urias has yet to make an appearance in 2018 as he battles back from shoulder surgery. Urias, once a highly touted prospect, has pitched to a 5-4 record with a 3.86 ERA and a 95/45 K/BB ratio over 23 major league starts. Clearly the Dodgers still think he has potential if they're willing to keep him as a starter despite their glutton at the position. It's important to note that Urias still has a long way before he makes his return to the majors, and manager Dave Roberts said their plans could change. However, for now it appears that the once top prospect will remain a starter once he finally makes his anticipated return to the major league.
