Julio Urias Gets Dodgers First Post-Break Start
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias will get the team's first start coming out of the All-Star break at Denver next Friday, according to The Athletic. Walker Buehler will go Saturday, while Sunday's starter is still to be determined, though veteran David Price could get the nod with Clayton Kershaw (forearm) on the shelf. The 24-year-old Urias has been stellar in the first half, going 11-3 with a 3.64 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 119 strikeouts across 106 1/3 innings. Urias and Buehler are essentially must-starts, even at Coors Field, while Price could become more attractive in mixed leagues once he's built up more. He has a 3.23 ERA and 1.66 WHIP this season, mostly in relief.
