7 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Jung-Ho Kang arrived at extended spring training on Monday as he starts his return to the big leagues. After legal troubles in his native South Korea, Kang was unable to get a work visa until recently, forcing him to miss all of 2017 and the start of 2018. The Pirates still have to assess where Kang is at physically before determining any sort of timetable for when he can get back to the majors. Until then, he's not a player worth rostering in any fantasy format. Even when it's decided when he can return, Kang still needs to prove he can hit at the same level he did in 2016 (.867 OPS).--Matt Wilkes
