6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Jung Ho Kang will sit Monday's home opener against the St. Louis Cardinals in favor of left-handed hitting Colin Moran. Through two games, Kang is 2-for-7, including a double with two RBI, but he has also struck out three times. It's an interesting lineup shift after Kang was named the starting third baseman before Opening Day. However, facing Adam Wainwright, the Pirates seem to be playing the splits here, indicating the hot corner could become more of a platoon than originally thought. Moran isn't your best bet for DFS, but if you want to spend elsewhere, he offers some value with the bat, hitting at a .295 clip with 11 homers and 57 RBI against righties last year.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
