Junior Guerra Bounces Back After Two Bad Starts
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Junior Guerra went six innings, giving up three hits, two runs and four walks while striking out three in the 7-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. While Guerra did allow four walks, he kept the hits low and the runs lower and ultimately ended up earning the win and a quality start. This now gives him his second quality start on the season, with his other one coming on April 28. Guerra will make his next start against the Minnesota Twins on May 20 provided no injuries happen, and he is a top streaming candidate. On the season, he now owns a 3.08 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 3-3 record with 37 strikeouts in 38 innings pitched.
