7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Junior Guerra will take the mound and start against the St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday. This will be Guerra's first start of the season, as he has spent his time with the Triple-A affiliate Colorado Springs Sky Sox for the first part of the season. After recording a 2.81 ERA, a 9-3 record and 100 strikeouts in 121 2/3 innings pitched in 2016, Guerra took a massive fall last season with a 5.12 ERA, 1-4 record and 67 strikeouts in 70 1/3 innings pitched. He will look to find his 2016 self this year, despite the unlikelihood of this happening. Guerra should not be added, as this will most likely be a one-start occurrence.--Caden Inaba
