5 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn threw two complete innings during the win over the Reds on Wednesday. The 24-year-old struck out the first two batters of the day, catching Josh VanMeter looking before dispatching Joey Votto, who went down swinging. Though he gave up a run in the second inning, Dunn is confident that his stamina will improve as the season progresses. The righty maintained a 2.70 ERA to go along with only five strikeouts in four appearances in 2019. He likely won't have a spot on fantasy rosters to begin the year, but managers in AL only leagues should keep an eye on his development down the stretch for signs of improvement.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
