3 years agoChicago Bears second-year quarterback Justin Fields appears to be a more established leader entering this year's offseason workouts. "Me not knowing if I'm going to be the leader of the team or not last year compared to this year means a whole different mindset," said Fields. "Just comfortability and knowing that I'm going to be the guy." Fields struggled in his first season but was also thrust into action far earlier than expected, making his first start in Week 3 due to an injury to quarterback Andy Dalton. Fields finished 2021 with 1,870 passing yards, seven touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in 12 games (10 starts), with an abysmal 26.4 QBR. However, if he can take a step forward with new head coach Matt Eberflus replacing Matt Nagy, Fields' dual-threat ability could make him an intriguing fantasy value, especially in 2QB and Best Ball formats. His development could also unlock the value of wide receiver Darnell Mooney and tight end Cole Kmet.--Dessy John
