Justin Fields Inconsistent In Loss
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields completed 16-of-27 passes for 174 yards, one touchdown, one interception and 43 rushing yards in the Bears 24-14 loss to the Packers. Fields was hot out of the gate, completing his first three passes on the first drive that resulted in a touchdown. But the momentum grinded to a halt from there and the rookie passer struggled making the right choices with the football. Fields would lead the team down the field and find Darnell Mooney in the end zone to bring the score to 17-14 in the fourth quarter, but Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers responded with a touchdown drive to put the game out of reach. Fields has a favorable matchup against the Buccaneers next week and is making weekly strides, but may not be ready for the fantasy spotlight at this time.
