Justin Fields Must Show Improvement In Year 2
3 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields must show improvement and be more consistent in 2022, or else the Bears might have to consider the possibility that he isn't their franchise QB. If his sack numbers remain high, if he's not doing a good job taking care of the football and if he's not leading scoring drives often enough, the Bears may move on sooner than later. Making things tougher, it looks like Fields will have to make due with a below-average offensive line and a below-average receiving corps. The 23-year-old first-rounder showed flashes in his rookie season but ultimately was way too inconsistent, throwing for 1,870 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 12 games (10 starts). Fields' rushing ability is what makes him exciting, but until he shows us more and the Bears give him more weapons, he'll just be an upside QB2 in fantasy.
