Justin Fields Needs To Shorten Throwing Motion
3 years agoThe Chicago Bears are extremely excited about the future for quarterback Justin Fields, who is heading into his second NFL season in 2022, but several league contacts pointed to his elongated throwing motion as a mechanical fix that must be made. There are also some questions about new quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko, who doesn't have much experience working with the position. Fields struggled in his rookie season, but the offense wasn't exactly built for him and had plenty of issues on the offensive line in 2021. It's a good thing that Matt Nagy is no longer in Chicago, but it remains to be seen if the new coaching staff will be able to maximize Fields' talents going forward. At the very least, the 23-year-old will be an intriguing dual-threat QB2 with upside for fantasy managers.
