3 years agoChicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields (ankle) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Fields will probably be questionable on the final injury report for Week 17 against the New York Giants, and head coach Matt Nagy said Fields needs to be pretty healthy in order to play. In other words, the Bears aren't just going to throw their first-round QB out there in harm's way if he's not 100% good to go. Andy Dalton (groin) has been practicing in full this week, so if Fields misses a second straight game, it could be Dalton under center instead of Nick Foles, who got the start in Week 16. Despite an uneven rookie year in a lackluster offense, the 22-year-old Fields has the most QB2 upside of the group and gives the Bears the best chance to win.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
