Justin Herbert Finishes Strong Rookie Campaign On A High Note
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert continued to break records in a Week 17 victory versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Herbert was 22-for-31 for 302 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed the ball six times for nine yards and a touchdown. Herbert was very impressive after becoming the starter quarterback in Week 2 and passed Carson Wentz for the most completions by a quarterback in their rookie season. He also became the first rookie quarterback to pass for over 30 touchdowns and has scored the most total touchdowns by a rookie with 36. Herbert's stock is rising heading into 2021 and he should be treated as a QB1 when managers set up their draft board.
