Justin Herbert Struggles In Upset Loss
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert put together an ugly performance in an upset loss versus the Houston Texans in Week 16. With many fantasy leagues in their semifinals, Herbert couldn't have picked a worse time to lay an egg for his managers. The sophomore signal-caller struggled all day against the Texans defense and finished the contest 27-for-35 for 336 yards with one touchdown and a pair of interceptions. Herbert's second interception would come in the finals minutes of the contest and was returned for a touchdown by Texans defensive back Tavierre Thomas. Herbert would get the ball back after that and was able to somewhat salvage his day with a garbage time touchdown to Josh Palmer. Overall, Herbert had a disappointing performance on the afternoon and managers have every right to be frustrated with his performance in Week 16. Despite his rough outing, managers should still have confidence that Herbert can return to form against a tough Denver Broncos defense in Week 17.
