Justin Herbert Struggles In Week 8
3 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert struggled in a Week 8 loss versus the New England Patriots. Coming off of an ugly Week 6 performance and a Week 7 bye, the signal-caller completed just 18 of his 35 pass attempts for a pair of touchdowns and two interceptions. His first interception went off of the hands of Austin Ekeler, but Herbert looked unpleasant on Sunday nonetheless. Herbert salvaged his day for managers with a late touchdown to rookie wide receiver Josh Palmer in the fourth quarter, but that was one of his few bright spots on the afternoon. The sophomore quarterback has been a boom-or-bust option this season, but has been more of a boom than a bust this season. Managers shouldn't worry too much at this point and Herbert is still capable of putting up QB1 numbers on a weekly basis. Looking to bounce back in Week 9, Herbert and the Chargers will take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
