Justin Herbert Will Be A QB2 In Week 16
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert will look to continue his impressive debut campaign with a matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 16. The Broncos Defense has been a solid unit and is allowing just 245 yards through the air and a just over a touchdown per game to signal callers. Despite those numbers, Herbert was able to throw for 278 yards and three touchdowns when the team met earlier in the season, but he did toss two interceptions in that contest. The Chargers have been committed to the pass game all season and there is no reason that should change on Sunday. Herbert will be without tight end Hunter Henry (COVID-19) and top receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) is heading towards a game-time decision, but managers should still feel confident about starting the rookie as a QB2 in Week 16.
