Justin Jackson Catches Five Balls
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson picked up his second straight start in Week 7. Jackson took advantage of his playing time with starter Austin Ekeler (hamstring) sidelined in Week 5, but he didn't do much on the ground against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Jackson was only able to muster 12 yards on five carries, but he salvaged his day for managers with five receptions for 43 yards. Jackson will continue to split work with rookie running back Joshua Kelley, but Kelley also struggled on Sunday. Neither Kelley or Jackson has made their case to be the backup when Ekeler returns, but the duo will remain the backfield options in the meantime. Jackson will be a low-end flex in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos.
