Justin Jackson Should See Fair Share Of Action In Week 5
4 years agoLos Angeles Chargers running back Justin Jackson should be expected to see a good amount of action against the New Orleans Saints with Austin Ekeler (hamstring) sidelined. Rookie running back Joshua Kelley has been the primary backup for Ekeler and is likely to get the start in Week 5. Jackson has had a slow start to the season and missed some time earlier in the season with a quad injury, but is healthy now. Jackson has more experience than Kelley and it is expected that the two runners will have a similar workload against a very tough defense Saints Defense. Kelley has two fumbles in the last two games and that could lead to Jackson getting the goal line work against a defense that has allowed a rushing touchdown in three straight games. Jackson is an intriguing add in 10-team leagues, but managers may want to wait a week before putting him in their lineup.
