Justin Smoak Blasts Solo Shot In Monday's Loss
5 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak was 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk during Monday's 7-3 loss to the Cleveland Indians. The veteran slugger is slashing .215/.354/.418 on the season to go along with 16 HRs, 42 RBI, and a 20 percent walk rate. Smoak's production has been a far cry from the All-Star season he delivered in 2017. Nevertheless, he offers above-average power at a low cost. He is a viable option in deep standard leagues or AL-Only formats.
