6 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak was 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI during a 10-1 win over the San Diego Padres on Sunday afternoon. Smoak is starting to heat up at the plate as he has five HRs and nine RBI over his past seven games. The 32-year-old slugger now has 11 HRs on the season to go along with 30 RBI and a modest .224 average. Look for Smoak to continue to produce as players like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cavan Biggio offer him more protection in the lineup. He is worthy of ownership in all deeper mixed formats.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
