Justin Smoak Out of the Lineup on Wednesday
5 years agoToronto Blue Jays first baseman Justin Smoak (rest) is out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against the Rangers. The 32-year-old will get an off day as the recently called-up Rowdy Tellez will play first base and bat sixth against Rangers left-hander Kolby Allard. Smoak has struggled for a majority of the season, batting just .212 to go along with 19
home runs and 52 RBI through 98 games. Smoak is not worth owning in mixed leagues with uncertainty about his playing time with Tellez back on the Major League roster.
