3 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Justin Steele threw five shutout innings in Wednesday's victory versus the Minnesota Twins. The lefty allowed one hit, zero runs, three walks and struck out three. The pitching prospect spent the first half of the season in the bullpen, but has been pitching exclusively as a starting pitcher in the second half. Steele improves to 3-2 on the season and now has a 3.48 ERA. Steele doesn't provide much value in redraft leagues, but is a name to consider in deeper dynasty leagues. Next up for Steele will be a matchup versus the Cincinnati Reds.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
