Justin Steele Leaves Friday Start Early
2 years agoChicago Cubs left-hander Justin Steele left his Friday start against the Milwaukee Brewers with an apparent injury to his left leg or knee. Steele departed with one out in the sixth inning, allowing one run on four hits while striking out six and walking four. The 27-year-old grabbed at the back of his left knee after a fly-out in the inning and appeared to be trying to stretch it out. Trainers came out to check on him and he left shortly after. Look for the Cubs to update the lefty's status after Friday's game concludes.
