2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (abdomen) could return to the lineup on Thursday against San Francisco, according to manager Dave Roberts. The veteran third baseman did receive an MRI, which came back clean, but he will remain out until Thursday at the earliest. Turner has appeared in just four games since the All-Star break while dealing with an abdomen issue but he will not go on the injured list. Roberts said they'll keep him on the active roster as his issue isn't getting worse. The team should provide another update before Thursday but it's encouraging news for the veteran.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
