Justin Turner Inks Two-Year Deal With Dodgers
4 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to a deal that will bring back third baseman Justin Turner. Reports state it is a two-year contract worth $34 million and will become official pending a physical. The veteran infielder fared well across a shortened 2020 season, slashing .307/.400/.460 with four home runs and 23 RBI. Turner remains a top-20 3B option in standard formats, likely hitting in the heart of a potent batting order. Health is a slight concern for the 36-year-old, but as long as he remains an everyday player for the defending World Series champions, he will be a reliable source of batting metrics and RBI.
