4 years agoInitially, the Los Angeles Dodgers were targeting this weekend for the activation of third baseman Justin Turner (hamstring) from the injured list, but prior to Thursday’s contest, manager Dave Roberts bumped that timeline back by a few days. The club instead is aiming for early next week when they take on the Padres as a return for Turner, who would reclaim full-time duties at the hot corner. Although he has delivered just two homers this season, his xBA (.312), xSLG (.601), and xwOBA (.424) all rank among the top batters in the game, giving him considerable upside over the final two-plus weeks of the year.--Jesse Borek
