7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (wrist) suffered a non-displaced left wrist fracture after being hit by a pitch in the Cactus League game Monday night. There is no timetable for his injury, but expecting him to miss at least around two months would be a fair bet. Turner has come on strong late in his career and hit .322/.415/.530 with 21 home runs and 71 RBI for the Blue in 2017 and was one of the more intriguing corner infield power bats, especially in on-base percentage leagues. It's a big blow to the Dodgers and owners who already drafted Turner. The Dodgers could elect to use Logan Forsythe as their main third baseman until Turner is back, which would mean more playing time for the veteran Chase Utley. Kike Hernandez and Chris Taylor could also fill in more on the infield. Catcher Austin Barnes is another option to man the keystone for the Dodgers. Thankfully for them, depth is one of their strengths.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
