4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton and first baseman Albert Pujols are not in Wednesday's lineup for the game against the Rangers. Manager Joe Maddon indicated that both veteran players are getting the day off, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Pujols and Upton have been fast out of the gate in terms of their respective power outputs, as each has slugged five home runs to start the 2021 campaign. Jose Rojas will start in left field, with Jared Walsh set to play first.--Tim Capurso
