4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfielder Justin Upton is having a resurgent Spring Training and fantasy teams are hoping this can carry into the regular season. Upton has disappeared off the fantasy radar the past two seasons due to injuries and ineffectiveness. But the veteran has shown signs of life, slashing .367/.424/.767 with three doubles and three home runs in 30 exhibition at-bats. It typically is hard to handicap a player's performance based only on spring numbers but the fact that Upton is healthy and stinging the ball around the yard is a promising sign. Availability will be paramount but Upton could provide excellent sleeper value in the final rounds of upcoming drafts.--Joey C - RotoBaller
